But how did I end up there?

Short answer?

My rent was £100 a week. And I was 3 days due.

And that's when the young me realized the POWER of money.

And how I had none of it.

I mean, not being able to pay for public transport...

sometimes going to bed hungry...

yeah that bothered me...

but I was young and dumb and young people are supposed to be broke...

but have you ever tried to sleep in a tent when it was raining... and it got wet... and your clothes and everything inside got wet... so now you were wet and just standing around... waiting for time to pass...

I don't want that to ever happen to you...

so listen...

I was a Turkish student in the UK studying music on a student visa that only allowed me to work 2 days a week.

The only jobs I could get were "under the table" and gig jobs... and I would make max £150($196) a week...

So on that day where I was fed up with being broke I realized that...

I needed make money online because it was my only option.

The stress and depression were overwhelming; I felt utterly defeated and hopeless.

I could not do anything...

let alone survive...

During the time I was making videos to promote my band's music (remember I was studying music)

One of my YouTube videos I've recorded scripted and edited got 1,000 views....

I received a mysterious email in my inbox...

a name, a discord ID and a message

"DM me"

he said he was a scriptwriter and I had what it took...

he suggested that I should edit for YouTubers...

I mean me..?

I've never done this before...

but hey, I needed the money so I figured...

hey I might as well give this thing a go...

so I put everything I had into it...

I grit my teeth...

I consumed everything I could...

I would wake up and spend the first 4 hours just on trying to get clients...

and maybe call it luck...

maybe call it fate...

in just my first month I was able to make

just a bit over $6k...

and my whole worldview was never the same again...

I had finally escaped the shit situation I was in...

I had finally stopped being a peasant...

I had finally had money to spend on... whatever I wanted...

I even went to cigar lounges a couple times smoking £40 cigars and talking to ACTUALLY rich people...

I wish the story came to a happy ending here but no...

a month later I was down to making nothing a month...

so what happened?

I am embarassed to admit this...

but I had a chat with one of my "best friends"...

and he told me to stop...

so I stopped.

I'd finally earned my wings and I was going to fly...

I thought I was finally "free" from all my past trauma...

But that one crab in the bucket...

disguised as my "best friend"...

he pulled me down...

and then I went back to being my old broke self for the next 9 months...

trying to hustle a 100 bucks here and there...

trying to do Uber eats with a borrowed bike...

Now, if we fast forward a year later

I went hard on video editing again...

And was able to earn thousands on AUTOPILOT and move myself to a villa in Thailand... but

I'm telling you this story to highlight

how important the people you are around is for

your success.
